How long will it take to publish my book?
Every project is unique but typically a softcover novel takes 4-6 weeks while a more elaborate book like a family or corporate history with a complicated page layout (headings, subheadings, pull quotes, sidebars, etc.) typically takes 3-6 months. The timing can also be effected by how organized your materials are, how quickly you get back to us with feedback and/or corrections, and how busy our schedule is.
Will I have a say in the design process?

Yes! We like to build a close, collaborative relationship with our authors. You can participate in every stage of your book design for a creative, rewarding experience. Together we’ll transform your ideas into a top-quality book you’ll be proud of. We know how to make your book the best it can be. You’ll enjoy the creative process of participating in your book’s design and seeing it evolve, and you can leave all the production details to us with complete confidence.

Why do I need to have my manuscript edited by a professional before my pages are typeset?

Nothing screams “amateur” like a book full of typos. Unfortunately, there are plenty of unedited books out there that do just that. Great books have been edited by a professional. It’s that simple.

Having your manuscript edited by an experienced editor can also save you time and money in the long run. Even the smallest changes to your text after your pages have been typeset can have a domino effect on many pages to follow. This can be time-consuming and costly in the end.

Will my book get into stores?
Yes! One of the most popular ways to publish these days is through IngramSpark, a print-on-demand platform that has online distribution and distribution to libraries and brick-and-mortar stores. There are numerous other companies that offer a wide range of distribution choices. We can help you select the right option for your book.
Can my book be produced using sustainable print options?

We love working with printing companies that put the planet first.
